Well, 2026 Mendocino Coast Writers’ Conference certainly was one for the books! Despite a few hiccups, this year was filled with memorable moments, invaluable connections, and of course, pages of incredible writing. Thank you to our board, staff, volunteers, faculty, and participants, without whose dedication, support, and unwavering patience we could not have pulled off such a beautiful conference!

Thank you to our wonderful booksellers Gallery Bookshop, our friends at Crown Hall, and the K-8 School in Mendocino for their support. Thanks also to The Brickery for the delicious welcome, Harvest Market for providing yummy meals throughout the conference, and Los Gallitos, for feeding us an unforgettable closing dinner during the inspiring keynote address by Jeanne Thornton! Our next conference will take place from August 5-7, 2027. Scholarship and Master Class applications will be available in January 2027. General Registration will open in April 2027.

We’re offering the opportunity to Pre-Register from now until October 31, 2026. Pre-Registration allows you to hold your spot for $200 in the workshop of your choice and save $75 on the tuition price. You will be contacted in March to confirm participation and your Workshop and make the remainder of your payment. You are eligible for a refund on your deposit until April 1. Full price tuition is $875 and Pre-Registration offers it to you for $800.
